Composition

  • Brimonidine Tartrate IP – 0.2% w/v
  • Timolol Maleate IP – equivalent to Timolol 0.5% w/v
  • Stabilized Oxychloro Complex (as preservative) – 0.005% w/v
  • Sterile Aqueous Base – q.s.

Description

Brimolap-T Eye Drops is a combination medicine used to reduce increased pressure inside the eye. It contains Brimonidine, an alpha agonist, and Timolol, a beta-blocker, which work together to decrease aqueous humor production and improve its outflow, thereby lowering intraocular pressure.

Indications

  • Open-angle glaucoma
  • Ocular hypertension
  • Used when response to single therapy is insufficient

Dosage & Administration

  • 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily
  • Maintain approximately 12 hours gap between doses
  • If using multiple eye medicines, keep at least 5 minutes gap
  • Avoid touching dropper tip to prevent contamination
