Composition

  • Nepaflo-OD Eye Drops
  • Benzalkonium Chloride Solution (Preservative) – 0.01% w/v
  • Sterile Aqueous Base – q.s.

Description

Nepaflo-OD Eye Drops contains Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in eye care. It works by reducing pain and inflammation in the eye, especially after surgical procedures. It helps improve comfort and supports faster recovery following eye surgery.

Indications

  • Pain and inflammation after cataract surgery
  • Reduction of post-operative swelling
  • Prevention of macular edema in diabetic patients after cataract surgery

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1 drop in the affected eye once daily
  • Start 1 day before surgery
  • Continue on the day of surgery and up to 2 weeks after surgery
  • Additional drop may be given 30 to 120 minutes before surgery
  • Shake well before use
  • Maintain a gap of at least 5 minutes if using other eye drops
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip

Storage

  • Store below 30°C
  • Keep in a well-ventilated area
  • Do not freeze
  • Keep out of reach of children
