Tobagain Eye Drops

Composition

  • Tobramycin (as Tobramycin Sulphate) – 0.3% w/v
  • Benzalkonium Chloride Solution – 0.01% v/v
  • Sterile Aqueous Base – q.s.

Description

Tobagain Eye Drops contains Tobramycin, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria, helping to clear infection and reduce symptoms like redness, swelling, and discharge. It is commonly prescribed for external eye infections and related conditions.

Indications

  • Bacterial eye infections
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • External eye infections and inflammation
  • Eye discharge and irritation caused by bacteria

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s)
  • Usually used every 4 to 6 hours or as directed by the doctor
  • In severe cases, may be used more frequently initially
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip
  • Complete full course as prescribed

  • Store below 30°C
  • Keep in a cool and dry place
  • Protect from light
  • Do not freeze
  • Keep out of reach of children
