Exogain Eye Drops

Composition

  • Ofloxacin – 0.3% w/v
  • Benzalkonium Chloride (as preservative) – 0.01% w/v
  • Sterile Aqueous Base – q.s.

Description

Exogain Eye Drops contain Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, thereby stopping the growth of infection-causing bacteria.

Indications

  • Bacterial conjunctivitis
  • External ocular infections caused by susceptible bacteria

Dosage & Administration

  • First 2 days: 1 to 2 drops every 2 to 4 hours
  • Then: 1 to 2 drops 4 times daily
  • Duration should not exceed 10 days
  • For ophthalmic use only
