Nepagain-OD Eye Drops

Composition

  • Nepafenac – 0.3% w/v
  • Benzalkonium Chloride Solution (Preservative) – 0.01% w/v
  • Sterile Aqueous Base – q.s.

Description

Nepagain-OD Eye Drops contains Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in eye care. It helps reduce pain and inflammation in the eye, especially after cataract surgery. It works by blocking substances in the body that cause inflammation, thereby improving comfort and recovery.

Indications

  • Pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery
  • Reduction of post-operative swelling
  • Prevention of macular edema after eye surgery

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1 drop in the affected eye once daily
  • Start 1 day before surgery
  • Continue on the day of surgery and up to 2 weeks after surgery
  • Additional drop may be given 30 to 120 minutes before surgery
  • Shake well before use
  • Maintain at least 5 minutes gap if using other eye drops
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip

Storage

  • Store below 30°C
  • Keep in a cool and dry place
  • Do not freeze
  • Keep out of reach of children
